The thermometer hit 96 degrees the first day of my MSF class.&nbsp\\; I'm glad I wasn't required to wear a jacket.

Vents and armor. Cool when its warm-close the vents and put in the liner when it's cool.

Jeans and a long sleeve t-shirt is all you need for the course. If you take a jacket, you'll cook yourself in it.
They ought to give the course in shorts, tank top and flip flops.

I bought a air intake jacket in a effort to be more safe great jacket but to hot when backroading alright at freeway speeds though

I have a Firstgear mesh jacket that I swear by. Just enough to keep my skin on for 30-40' but gives great airflow. I have mesh gloves that do the same (but I think they'll only last 5-10'

I have the same brand jacket and second recommendations for it.&nbsp\\; That being said though, for the MSF course I just wore a denim long sleeve shirt over a t-shirt.&nbsp\\; When we were not riding, I took it off or rolled the sleeves up.

So I thought I owned a decently light long sleeve shirt, but all the ones I do have are heavy (for very cold weather).&nbsp\\;This is gonna be some experience, I only wore jeans&nbsp\\;twice this year and that was when the temp got into the teens lol.

Thanks for the replies and recomendations, I'll look into more jackets once I get the bike and go on longer rides at higher speeds.
