I took my carb off today to freshen it up and the plug for the float bowl vent came out. Will this affect how my bike will run?

The hhhhwhat for the who?&nbsp\\; What plug are you talking about?&nbsp\\; Isn't the idea of a vent to....well....vent?&nbsp\\; You mean the screw?&nbsp\\; Cuz if that came out, you'll see a pretty "drastic change" in how your bike runs, lol.

 

I looked it up in my service manual and it says it's the fuel bowl vent. It is a tunnel(?) that has a 90 degree bend and vents into the aircleaner. At the bend it keeps goin straight and out the side of the carb and it had a plug in it.

 

better plug it again or you will leak gas everywhere

 

I put it back in and bolted everything on this morning and it runs like a champ. Hopefully it holds.
