I can wear this all day, good ventilation and light weight. Just watch out the word DOT, a lot of helmets in the market are not.
THH makes a \\;OK looking DOT helmet, no DOT helmet is going to look cool, just get used to it, I did....I do 98% of my riding in a fullfaced helmet....call me chicken but I want to look pretty in my coffin.....
Your requirements are DOT approved, lightweight and low profile. Your other requirements should be it FIT comfortably and not have wind turbulence try to take it off your head. Chin strap should operate smoothly. Primarily it must be DOT approved and comfortable on your head. My carbon fiber Daytona Skull Cap has the three snap visor on it, but it vents the wind under the visor and back over the helmet, not under it. That means wind doesn't affect it that much. I can also snap on a flip up visor to help with the rain. Your helmet; your choice. Let us know what you pick out, though.
I just bought a daytona half shell and i really look like a *****. I was very disappointed i also have a problem with the wind trying to pull it off me. I tried tightening the strap and that just made it very uncomfortable. The plus side on the helmet is its weight very very light i like that part but thats about it. Only purchased it for sixty bucks so its not like im out the hd sticker price. IMO dont get the daytona disappointment will haunt you.
i totally agree. the daytona helmet (purchased off of e-bay for 42.95) was a disappointment. it looks great until you put it on your noggin. it sits way too high and at any speed over 35, it's just gettin higher and higher. i kinda like some of the harley half helmets. a bit pricey though. but may be worth the $$.
