Ok I need a new helmet the mrs says its gotta be dot approved,any suggestions so I dont look like a mushroom.

I have the Daytona Skull Cap. plysant links to real carbon fiber helmets for a great price. Lightweight comfortable narrow low profile and DOT approved

Daytona Skull Cap retails for 150 but can be gotten for about 100. I got mine at 1/2 clearance at Bossier City HD in Louisiana. 54 bucks out the door. It was too big but some adhesive foam strips took care of that.

I got it for riding in states that have helmet requirements. Although I modified it to fit I make no pretentions that it will protect me in a crash as well as a properly sized lid. Mostly I go lidless anyway.
