Okay, I want to put mini apes on my 883 custom but want to go with shorter risers. I want to keep the speedo in place and found this post telling that you can invert the top piece and use it like a Dyna mount. Anyone try this? Should I go with Wide Glide bars or Narrow Glide bars?

Don't just invert yours, that wouldn't look so hot. The way I understood some of that is that they are just using the riser and guage mount from a dyna, that would work for what you are wanting.

Get the WG bars, they look much better IMO.
