Help!

2006 883 sportster, here's the problem, twice now while make a slow left hand turn from a stop engine cuts off and stalls lights stay on. key has to be turned into off position and then back on and bike starts again, wire connections seem to be solid, engine both times were warm and operating fine for miles before occuring, any ideas? any help or ideas is appreciated

sounds like the tip switch. It cuts off the engine if it lays down... it may not be in a level position on the bike or it is stuck.

Yep,sounds like tip switch kicked in. you had to turn key on off to reset.
if this happens again look at speedo should be a light on says (tip) hard to see

would the bike have to be in gear and running in order to activate the tip switch? or can you activate it with the bike in neutral as kind of a test? also where is the tip switch is it accessible?

I looked in my manuals and found nothing on it,but says see electrical manual which i dont have. sorry
start bike and lean it to the left side in nutraul see if it shuts off , more than 29-30 degree from center. be careful
sorry i cant help any futher
i only know this tip switch works layed mine over (easy lay over) no hurt
