Run / Off switch issue
I need help with diagnosing an issue on my 07 Street Glide. I tried to start it and when I turn the ignition switch to the ON I get all of the correct actions like, dash lights, head light etc. But when I hit the run / off switch I didn't hear the fuel pump and the engine light did not turn on. I turned everything off and back on a couple of timed and it finally worked. I took the bike out for a ride and the engine shut off as I was riding it down the freeway and I had the same symptoms. After about 20 minutes of sitting on the side of the freeway I was able to get it running again and took it home.
I tested the switch with a VOM and I also performed a wiggle test but I can not find any issues. I'm not sure what else to check.
