Why not simply hotwire it? It's stupid easy on a motorcycle.

When you turn the key on does the red key light come on and stay on, or does it go off and come back on and stay on... The key light is also tied to diagnostics for the turn signal module and the serial data bus.... But knowing the lighting sequence is important to knowing what the light is telling you...

if you don't have a security system, sounds like a fuse to me...I blew my main fuse once on a trip, 200 miles from home...found a paper clip on the side of the road and put it in place of the fuse...BIG mistake...fuses blow for a reason I found out...melted the entire wiring harness!!! yikes! Anyway, check your fuses...

bad grounds at the coil connections or anything you touched or replaced since the original problem happened

also battery connections

did you replace your plugs?

the plugs have spark but wat condition are they in? also what about the plug wires? unless u have a service manual u mite wanna take it to the dealer so it doesnt shut down on you again. yea i asked if you bought it used because i thought maybe they put security on it and hid the fob somewhere. also the battery could have been dead in the fob. but it def. is an electrical problem so check the basic areas such as plug wires. if its not idling properly then the plugs could be in bad shape or a short somewhere else.
