You'll be sorry.If you are looking to upgrade,the only bike I would consider is a Electra Glide.The others are just bigger and slower sportsters.At least with the EG you get the increased wind protection and more comfort for your passenger.

really?? i'm not sorry that I moved to a softail. neither are many folks that have moved to dynas or softails.

if i want wind protection, i'll drive my car.

I've owned lots of bikes over the years, made one rule early on, keep each new one at least a year before selling/trading. Somehow knowing that I would have it at least a year makes restrains that purchase envy every new model brings out. I do however now have 4 different motorcycles as having one for a year, they sort grow on you.

Not sad at all I moved to my Street Bob. I can put my windshield on and make it look uglier but have wind protection if I like so thta point is moot. Yea you can carry a passenger in comfort on an Electra Glide but I bought the Street Bob for a reason, I ride alone.

Married 5 years....took long ride on anniversary last weekend. Looking better everyday....by the way not giving the bike away....but will settle for small fee of paying it off. hahaahah.

i did the same i dropped a couple hundred in it before trading it for the DX now i want it back or another sportster(883R)

Keep the DX, pay it off, then work toward your new goal of getting another Sportster...(your "R" will have to be used, BUT if and when the XR1200 get over on this side of the pond, you have a worthy goal!).
