A better seat and fit the bike to your rideing posture and you're good to go. You'll need to stop for gas about evere 125 miles or so, just walk a little then. I've rode many 300+ days on my sporty without a problem on both highway and back roads.
A good seat and being able to change riding position (if you have midmounts add forward pegs if you have forward controls put mid mount pegs on also) is key to riding 300 plus days. Also dont really push get off and stretch at every gas stop
...man, it's all about you and your ***... and how long you go between breaks...
If it will go highways speeds it can be along distance bike...
I'm sure there are geezer gliders who would start whining after five minutes and there are those who ride hard-tails across the country...
comfortable is a totally subjective thing.
I second the mids... get mids and highway pegs on there, better for touring and twisties... forward controls are for posers more concerned with looking cool than either comfort of control... IMHO, no offense...
I have the stock HD seat and I can definitely feel it after a little while. Hoping to get some progressives and a different seat to see if that will help.
