Comfortable for longs rides? I say NO ..but then again I wouldn't tap dance in HIGH HEELS either .......

Yep, went on a trip 720 miles one way, stayed for 4 days turned around and came home. I went none stop, took around 12 hours one way. As for the twisties, keep them feeles on them pegs you will need them. I love twisties, but i pushed the bike a bit much felt the peg come up kept my line and scratched the coating off my short shots. A lot depends on the rider...

Not sure I'd want to ride the Sportster that far; but I am having more padding put into my stock Roadster seat by a local auto upholstery shop and have a line on some new handle bars with more pull-back.

I'm going to find out this Sunday....going from Memphis to Fayetteville, AR about 350 miles if memory serves me correct. Stock Nightster.....going to take the back roads though...just hope there aren't that many bumps as it's pretty stiff suspension back there. Later.
