bought my used 08 about a month ago .
original owner put V&H pipes on the bike and i am wondering whether the fuel supply should have been adjusted for the pipes.
last week i noticed that when i accelerated hard the bike would start to take off then would stall temporarily (hesitated).
today it seems to hesitate on just about any reasonably hard acceleration.
could this be a fuel supply issue?
or other thoughts?
I've read on here that you don't necessarily have to do the re-map if you do exhaust only. I'm pretty sure I've read that you don't have to change the intake either. Is this bad info? I'm about to change my stock pipes to V & H Big Shots Long but don't necessarily want to do the intake\filter & re-map as the bike funds are a little tight at the moment.
What say you fellas?
Occurred when the engine is cold? Noticed similar acceleration issues (when really getting on the throttle) when engine was cold but otherwise seemed fine.
