I did a 883 to 1200 on my 2011 SuperLow. Bought the Screamin Eagle kit with heads. Installed Feuling 505/515 cams. Still breaking it in but it's a BIG DIFFERENCE. A lot more ***** in every gear.
I did the same kit but after reading up on the W cams I didn't do mine just to keep it simple. There's still a big difference but I'm sure you're putting out more power than I am. I geared mine way before I did the upper end too so I never tried it with the 883 gearing. I'm all highway so for me it really was either gear the bike or buy something bigger.
I'm not going to do 55 or 60 to keep the vibrations down when everyone else is doing 75 or 80. A bike that can't keep up with the flow of traffic to me is junk.

Looking for advise here from owners who made the jump from an 883 to 1200 engine mod.
Did it REALLY make a noticeable difference after the mod? I'm seriously considering doing the basic 1200 mod and changing the cams on my 2005 883, which has stage 1 rejet and Straight Shots. I'm looking for more lower end get-up and smoother ride at highway speeds (as most know, an 883 is working hard at 80MPH+). My engine only has 15K miles...wait until it has more miles?
Appreciate feedback from folks who did the mod to their machines. costs?
I went with Hammer Performance 1250 kit for my wifes 2001. Differance was astounding IMHO. No cams just bolt on, carb mod and ignition and away she went! Well worth the money!
