I've seen SO many threads about tires on the forum over the past few years. Personally I've had three sets on the Sporty since I picked it up. Have about 18300 miles currently. The last set is Metzeler 880s and they now have about 4k on them. They are wearing, but not as badly as the Dunlops did. I don't check the pressure as often as I should, but I will begin checking about once a week. I'm running about 40 psi and the last time I checked, they were both low. I would say I'm an average rider in that I don't get too crazy in the twisties, but I'm not too easy on the throttle either. Wish I knew how to improve my tire life though, it gets expensive replacing a set every year.
