Stripped Bolt
I could not find a good answer to this problem. I put on my new V&H slipons and the bracket that holds the mufflers to the bikes bracket comes with the bolt and nut needed to make the attachment. I was almost finished tightening the nut down on the bolt and I felt the nut slip on the bolt. Now the nut will not get any tighter and I can not get it off either. I'm sure the threads are stripped, but I can not get the nut to back off the bolt to put a new set on. Any one got a good way to get the nut off?
