Default Quick update!

Don't have much time, been busy and I'm gonna stay that way until this project is done!

Laced up my new 16x3 front rim with twisted spokes...getting a 130 series put on the front today. My Springer is also in the mail as of yesterday, and my weld-on kit from LedSled is only waiting on an oil tank and battery tray before it goes out.

I'll update this with pics later, besides....it's more fun to keep ya waiting anyways

Well, here are a couple teasers....decided that since the back wheel was already on I'm gonna wait to have them powdercoated until I have to change the tires again.

Also....THIS is in the mail Should be on the bike by the end of next week.

385.00 shipped...with the axle kit, bearings, cups, and the forks pre-assembled. Not a bad deal man. I'm gonna have to rip it apart soon after I fit it and get it all dialed in....the springs and hardware are getting powdered black.

I also got an indian tear drop headlight hidin out in a box in the garage

In a couple weeks it's getting cut in half and the hard tail goes on. I'm also waiting on my Frisco'd tank to come back from gettin chopped and re-welded (backbone mount, higher placement fill tube).

The ETA for completion is lookin like January - Februaryish if everyone sticks to schedule on stuff I need to get machined/painted, etc.

Oh it'll bolt right up Been stayin on top of my research. Only things you gotta (maybe) worry bout with these are the torque specs and whether or not you got a wide glide hub. They fit a Sporty neck but they accept WG hubs. Which....conveniently...I have, lol. Then you just need a bottom mount headlight that's threaded long enough (which I also now have) and you're good to go.

Finally got a paint scheme in mind too....black on top, grey on bottom with white and orange pinstriping. Aside from that...every last nut, bolt, bracket, screw, washer, and part will be BLACK. I'm using medium gloss and low gloss types to give a little contrast, and the paint will set itself apart from the rest of the bike.

I'm not going over the top with the looks, it will all fit perfectly and flow well from front to back.

One other key factor is gonna be the pipes. But yer all just gonna have to wait for that one. I can't really describe em, for one, and it's not something you see except once in a blue moon elsewhere.

This is gonna be one kickass ride when it's done. I'm pretty excited. I've been talking to the guys from Foundry...it may end up in The Horse when it's done

Ebay....same place I get just about everything, lol. I just pay attention to the details and ask as many questions as I can think of before I buy off that site. So far, I've yet to be let down.
