I don't *think* I need new bars, I rather like the wide bars on my 1200R. But, I do need to put some risers in there to lift them about 1.5" Once the Day Long saddle comes in, I'll take final measurements and make the risers.
Unless you're into making them yourself, you can get riser extensions in .5", 1.0" and 1.5". Several places carry them, HERE for one.

Good luck on your endeavor.
Thanks, cHarley. I decided I don't need risers at the moment. I've been doing stretching exercises and rotated the bars slightly and that's gotten rid of the discomfort.
I may change my mind later and I'll definitely look into those.
Well, I leave on Friday for a leisurely ride to Utah for the rally. The fun starts on the 27th.
Here's my tracking website for any of you that wish to follow along.

The bike looks quite different from the pictures posted above.
Here's a quick list of what I've done
- DayLong saddle
- Two sets of driving lights for 12,000 lumens of forward lighting
- TourTank mounted for a total of 11.5 gallons of fuel
- 2 gallon insulated water jug (hose run to my jacket for on the fly drinking)
- HardStreet saddlebags (water resistant and locking)
- Hyperlites tied into the brake / turn signals
- Clock / thermometer mounted on windshield
- Garmin 2610 GPS
I'm sure I left off something, I'll post pics and a report when I return.
I see you've listed a 2 gallon water jug and a hose for "intake"...do you have a similar system for "output"?
I'd personally have to stop for the "output", but I'm also on record as only having a 500 mile daily practical riding limit. Bacon, I'm getting my days mixed up, I thought you left already! You DID say Friday!

Teek
I know of more than one person that has had a Stadium Pal rupture during use...
I could answer TRacer's question about intake and exhaust, but do you REALLY want me to? Speaking of which, I gotta pee!
