I want to lift the stock bars on my 2008 XL1200R using risers NOT replacing the handlebars.
Is there a company making risers for the late model Sporties? I'd prefer a riser that bolts to the handlebar clamp, but I would not mind a set of clamps that are slightly longer than the stock clamps.
I could hop on a lathe and make spacers to lift the stock clamps, but I'd feel better with proper risers.
LOTS of companies make risers for late models...because there's really no difference in them from the 80's and 90's....just get taller HD risers if you want to keep your stock clamps. You can also find them fairly priced in HD style on JPCycles.com

i made risers out of plumbing pipe, fender washers, chrome cap, and hardened bolts for my brothers bike... cost me 4 dollars... also had this on my bob for a bit... can walk you though it... super easy to do and works great!
