Thumbs down 2008 1200 lemon!

She is 6 months old, 4700 miles.
She is pretty.
But she is a massive LEMON!
Been in the shop 4 times for blowing 30 fuses....Awe they cant find the problem (of course)
Then Tuesday morning I noticed her speedometer light was on, I hit the horn - it blew! - I hit the brakes - They worked!
All without a key
Loaded her up in the back of the truck, took her in with all of that going on, they were like YEAH! we can fix it.
Been in there for 3 days.
Guess what?
They cant find anything wrong with her.
No crap.
But they saw it!
.
I am considering a Lemon Law Lawyer, I dont know what else to do

Take it to another dealer, just a short somewhere.Get it fixed probably won't have any more problems, these things are usually only as good as who ever is working on them.

Another dealer sounds good, or someone who knows wtf their doing. Lots of folks end up doing the work themselves because they can't trust the dealer.

Yep sounds like a short and a poor dealer. Go to another dealer if they fix it, take it back and show them, maybe they will do something for you, if not, let them know what you think of them post there name on here and tell everyone you know about it. If no one can fix it, then it may be lemon time. Make sure you keep all papers that you can...

Did you ride or get her wet? Sounds like the ignition switch is making contact some how. No mods bars crome Ign switch covers etc done? If it was my bike I'd start pulling fuses one at a time to try and isolate the problem. There is a problem with water getting into fuse block. Ck for corrosian in fuse block, Try Die electric gel on fuse ends.

try another dealer and see if they can fix it. If not, you may indeed have gotten a bad one
