Cool Shoulda,Woulda,Coulda
A refugee from Bagger territory (07 FLHT) here.My local dealer is offering me a great deal for a trade in on my 2nd bike (BMW F650GS) against an 09 XL883R. Do I need another Harley? My wife says no but we've been married 27 years so she knows me too well and I know too well she knows me too. Should I tell her it's for her? Would she want to ride it? Could I have some help? There's supposed to be a recession goin' on but so what.

well why are you considering a second bike when you dont even know what you want it for? isnt it just money spent without reason?

ask her, find a good reason to get it, then do it.

It's only 6 weeks till Christmas! Just imagine her face when she looks at the tree and sees that shiny new bike with a HUGE bow on it sitting there in front of the tree. She'll be so happy!!!

I'd buy it immediately, as it's a pretty rare bike.

HD does not make an 09 XL883R.

Well thats the problem we are in a recession! you need to buy the bike to help out the economy! The way i see it if you by the bike you are doing America a favor!!!! thats what i would tell the wife!
