Default Trailer

My wife and I both have a 06 sportster 1200, we ride them almost all the time, however, there are times like wanting to go to NY or Canada that we might want to trailer them from central Missouri. What is the size of trailer I want??? Been looking at some trailers at Lowes lumber, local HD shops and other locations, they all have the mesh floorings, is this good or bad??? Would like to have an enclosed, but cant justify the cost.

most all of the trailers out there work quite well for hauling scoots. If I was to get one, I would want one that had the channel the tires fit into.

With the load of 2 bikes and that kind of distance, I would stay away from anything with less than 13" tires, 14" would be much better and with a load rating of "C"

Got to agree about tire size .We hauled 1 Sportster to Sturgis in 07 on a trailer with 12 inch wheels and I thought the tires were going to catch on fire . The only thing that helped was the guy who owned the trailer put grease zerts in the hubs and we could grease them before we came home

For hauling distance, Definatly enclosed. I'd buy the most heavy duty trailer I could afford.

You don't want to be sitting on the side of the road doing a bearing job on your trailer.
