Default Anyone else having PhotoBucket problems?

I just started using PhotoBucket about 6 months ago, and until recently it worked great, but lately I have not been able to take a picture out of my Photobucket album and place it into a thread. It's not working on a guitar forum that I belong to either, so the problem is not with this site.

I have a Mac, and this is what I do to post a picture-
1) compose the text of the thread
2) go to Photobucket and click on the "IMG" under the desired picture
3) return to the Forum thread and click "Apple V". Then click "preview post" to see if the picture is there, and then "submit post".

Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for your help.

Does that sound right?

I used them years ago. But I thought they changed, and didn't allow hot-linking anymore.....and that was why I left? All I could do was post a link to the pic, but not the actual pic.

i have a new iMac and you seem to be doing what i do, might want to maybe click on the photo icon when making a post to open the pic dialog box ?

when pasting (apple-v) make sure it is pasting the tags at the end of the photo address with no spaces before and after the addy.

Ywa, I have had the problem with PhotoBucket since they changed their software a fouple of months ago. Try clicking on the pic in your PB album so it gets larger and then copy the IMG link listed at the lower right of the pic.

I've been using Photobucket for about 5 years without any problems except that they delete nudity.

About a week ago I found that when I click on the link it didn't automatically "copy" the address.

The address turns blue but it's not on my clipboard.

Now I click on "direct link" and once it turns blue, I right click and copy the address myself.

Here's a picture from my gallery.

Not an apple user... but been using photobucket for years now...

I use the "direct link" method... just click on it... it copies and then I use the insert pic...

I guess it may be different with apple... but I have not had any problems with photobucket myself...
