I just started using PhotoBucket about 6 months ago, and until recently it worked great, but lately I have not been able to take a picture out of my Photobucket album and place it into a thread. It's not working on a guitar forum that I belong to either, so the problem is not with this site.
I have a Mac, and this is what I do to post a picture-
1) compose the text of the thread
2) go to Photobucket and click on the "IMG" under the desired picture
3) return to the Forum thread and click "Apple V". Then click "preview post" to see if the picture is there, and then "submit post".
Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for your help.
I used them years ago. But I thought they changed, and didn't allow hot-linking anymore.....and that was why I left? All I could do was post a link to the pic, but not the actual pic.
Ywa, I have had the problem with PhotoBucket since they changed their software a fouple of months ago. Try clicking on the pic in your PB album so it gets larger and then copy the IMG link listed at the lower right of the pic.
