Wife wants to get rid of the pull back stock riser assembly on her 1200 custom xl sporty. she likes the straight riser look, but we havnt figured out what would work with the stock speedo and turn signal light assembly. any help and pictures would help. thanks
Here's what I did... I also didn't like the stock curved riser... And I have 12" mini apes to put on mine soon and I didn't like the look of the curved riser with them...
I traded risers with a friend of mine that has a Dyna (late 90's I believe)... It's straight instead of curved... Bolted right in... And my speedo and dummy light panel swapped right in...
where did you hide the wiring connectors ?
isn't there like 3 duetch connectors hidden in the riser ?
I have to admit... My bro, my friend and I did the swap at a party we were at... I had about a case of beer in me at that point so I was not much help to them ... And didn't really see the swap ... But all the stock wiring is inside the straight riser as it was on the stock curved riser...
