Put it in between the rabbits foot and the 4 leaf clover, but don't get it close to the clove of garlic, or you will lose all the "spirits" from the bell.

Is it obvious that I don't put much stock in superstition?

There is a cross member on my 93 right under the voltage regulator that had a hole in the middle of it. It was perfect to get the keyring holding the bell on right there. Low in front like it's supposed to be, and out of the way of everything.

If you dont have an engine guard use one of the lower bolt holes for the engine guard.

Get a friend to put it on, it adds more luck that way.

put it around the lines running right above your ignition. That way you bump it everytime you start.

Mine is down low in between the two frame rails on that cross member in front of the engine. Probably a good name for that part.

It should go low and in the front. Didn't you get the card that explains the bell? Works better if a friend gives it to you, without asking for it, you should mount it yourself so the "luck" covers you and the bike.
