i just wanted to see if anyone else is bored with the cold weather,i'm going crazy.Of coarse,i just had knee surgery so that doesn't help,i'm kind of stuck sitting here not being able to get around.Any way just wanted to vent,be safe out there and ride for me.
Even though it gets pretty chilly here in the lower Midwest (we've had temps below zero already this winter), I don't "winterize" my bikes and ride year around.
The cold spells don't last that long, as it can be zero or below one day and in the 50's or higher later on that same week.
Also, I live out in a very rural area and the road crews don't use salt on the roads. They use some kind of coal ash by product from a local power plant, so when the ice and snow melt from the roads there isn't any kind of salt gunk to get all over the bikes.
My bikes aren't bears so they don't need to go into hibernation during the winter..
Yea, I'm ready to travel. Got some road trips planed for this spring. Until then I can usually take short trips around here every week are so in Arkansas.
