Default Progressive shocks.....

How can you tell what type of progressive shocks are on a bike? My uncle passed away a couple years back and I inherited his bike. I know it has progressive shocks but I don't know what kind.

Any help? Thanks in advance.

Some pics would help! If not, can you describe general appearance/length/approximate age? Which model bike is it?

Can you see the adjustments on the bottom of the shocks or does it adjust from the top?

I'm new to Harleys, so I am not sure. I'll have to go take a look since I was not even aware I could adjust them.

By the way, I know how to turn a wrench, I have a Camaro that I work on frequently. But this is my first bike.

Looks like 412s. Just under the edge of the lower chrome cover around the back there will be a label with the model#.
