Hello fellow Sporty bruthas. I know this has been covered about 1000 times and I had it saved to a Word doc, but my drive crashed a few months back and lost some data.
I plan to start maintaining my own bikes and wanted to get some ideas of who is using what. If I recall, Mobile and Amsoil were the front runners. Mobile 75-80w for gear and I can't remember the motor oil. ...I assume Amsoil 10-40w???
Assuming you are going to use synthetic, my choice for top quality products at a good price is:
Engine - Mobil-1 15w-50 (Walmart - 5 quart jug for ~$26.00)
Tranny/Primary - Mobil-1 75w-90 Gear oil (Autozone - 1 quart ~$9.00)
