A tornado just missed me! Weird. OKC TORNADO ALLEY! Tornadoes in Feb. are just stupid... Chuck E Cheese on NW Expressway is gone now. Oh well, that's what they get for buying out Show Biz. The keyboard playing gorilla was awesome!! (You OKC folk may know what i'm 'talkin 'bout!)
Man!!!!!!!! Yall watch out for them things. We have hurricanes, but at least we have warnings.
Like already said, do some free mods first, get rid of all the reflectors first, including that little one on the back of the rear fender, and If I were you, I would get the intake and tune to match that exhaust also. Just look through the pictures on this sight ang get some ideas, there are alot of good looking N's on here.
I'm definately keeping the front fender. It's ground down and painted to match the tank and back fender. I'll definately be looking at some of the relocation stuff. If anyone has any before and afters that would be great. Still raining and storming here so still not able to get any up to date pics up.
remove front fender and flectors,
speedo relocation.
drags or broomsticks look great on the nightster.
tank lift.
front and rear signal relocation.
coil, ignition, and wire harness relocation.
Personally, I would get a different seat. The passenger pillions just look horrendous on the later model bikes. It just looks bulky and out of place.
Even getting a nicer 2-up seat, you can go back to the solo seat in a few minutes, it's only 1 screw to remove to change them.
I agree..I went with the pillon to save a lil money at the get go though...I'm actually taking it off this evening...won't have a passenger for a couple weeks anyhow...I just had to give her as much cushion as I could...she's had a couple slipped disks in her back and the thick cusion helps a tad with that rough stock ride...we're planning a trip to Fayettevill, AR at the end of September for Bikes, Blues, and BBQ...I may have to find a better way to make the ride a bit better for her
Yeah...but with our Oklahoma weather we just have to wait 2 days for the ice to melt, then it's 75 again...then back to 20....then 60...then Tornandoes....then 40...and it's only Febuaray!
