HEY GUYS, NEW ON HERE. I JUST PICKED UP MY 06, 883 CUSTOM, BEEN OUT OF RIDING FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS, HAD A 02 1200C HAD TO SACRIFICE. BUT NOW AT LEAST IM ON SOMETHING, ITS A NICE LOOKIN BIKE, HOPE IM NOT TO DISSAPOINTED IN THE PERFORMANCE.
Mines an 05 883C and although i'm taking it easy during break-in period (just got a few weeks back) i rode these before during demo days at HD and was plenty quick enough. 1200 of course was faster but for me anyway its better to be riding period than not and have to wait till i could afford "bigger".
Welcome! After riding that bone shaker you 've GOT to love the '06! I wouldn't worry too much about the preformance yet, with the rubber mounts you can comfortably rev to the limiter and sqeeze all of the power out of the bike. If that's not enough, (and what is really?), you can always bolt on the 1200 jugs.
