Congratulations on the bike. Like I said try to do a track day on your bike after you brake her in. The track I went to had a speed limit of 140 mph, in an environment like that you will make good use of the bike's power as it was designed for. I recommend any motorcycle rider to do at least one track day in their lifetime.

**** that the only way I wanna be doin 140 mph is if it has wings and is heading for the Bahamas.

Congrats!! I have always wanted a sport bike and have rode a few early 90's 600's. Those were fun but last year I hopped on an 08 cbr1000rr and all I can say is wow. I'm all of 280lbs it had NOOOO problem moving my fat a$$ around, I didn't even have to try to get the front wheel up.
