I did a search on coil relocation, and can't find what I'm looking for. I need to know what terminal ends the guys or gals used for the coil end of the spark plug wires. I have not seen this type of end before, does not come in any kits I have checked. The inside of the coil tower is a small post (about 1/8 inch round) and the end on the wire terminal has a 1/8 inch hole with an E clip on it. I need some of those ends. Most likely it's just on the EFI models. Been to the stealers and they just laughed at me and wanted to sell me a new set of wires. Been to NAPA, Autozone, etc, etc, nobody has them around here. Hope somebody can help me. I have an 08 1200C. Trying to make up a new set of wires that I like. Thanks. Ride safe.
what exactly are you looking for? im confused. did u relocate ur coil between the rocker boxes? then all you need is another short wire, available at any dealer
Hes looking for the end that plugs into the coil to keep it from ratteling out. Take the boot off your coil and look at that end that plugs into it. Its like a clip type because of the vibration. Its different from a car. Your not going to find that end. Buy a set of wires or push the boot off and take that end off from your stock wires is all I can tell ya.
Thank you Yatez004, you know exactly what I'm looking for, I can't believe there are no ends around. I guess I'll have to cut up a new wire. Ride safe.
I relocated mine to between the Vee, had a helluva trying to find wires. I went to a total of 6 places, including some custom speed shops. I ended up buying a Screamin Eagle set for an '06, non EFI, cut them down and reused the existing ends. It was very tedious. I would recommend looking online. Try MSD maybe.
