Just wanted to say Thank you to all that posted to my thread about draging the bottom exhaust pipe on a right turn.
The main concense was to go to a longer shock and cHarley and others suggested the progressive 412 12.5 shock. this is what I went with and not only does it seem to have cured the orginial problem but I love how well the bike handles now and feels. The first thing I noticed was how smooth it rode on the way to work then I got on the expressway and it felt like a completely different bike. Then yesterday on the way home I took the long way to see what it would do in some twisties. Once again I was happy with the results but what really got me was when I saw this giant pot hole at the last minute and did a quick swirve to miss it (if I had hit it I would have gone over the bars) it was far more responsive then with the old shocks.
Thanks again for your help, it is nice to able to come here and get some good sound advice.
We finally got a few pictures of the upgrade, unfortunately I already put the bags back on so you really can't see the shocks very well.
If you look at my signature picture and these, there is very little difference in the over all height of the bike. But I can tell a difference sitting on it and of course as I mentioned before a big difference it the bike performance and handleing.
