Full Riding Gear vs. Tshirts for Summer Ridin'
I agree with you to a point, but the problem is that if I have to wake up every morning scared something might happen to me, life just won't be fun. The best riding or driving is done when you're relaxed and calm. Once you get the fear put into you or you start thinking too much about what might go wrong, thats when you choke up and sh*t hits the fan.
Same goes with riding a horse, an ATV, driving a car, skydiving, playing a sport, etc...Anything can happen at any given time. But I guarantee you that if you do any of those with the fear that you're gonna get hurt, guess what...
I don't want to think of any of that stuff everytime I get on my bike...I know your situation was different because you're job gave you a front row ticket to life and you had to be exposed to some gnarly stuff, but I don't want that in the back of my mind.
My thinking is, enjoy life and ride safe! Thats all we can do.
