make jokes about your Sporty? I am new to riding and just got my Bike in March. Been out ridin a bit and now and then someone makes a comment like "aint that a chick's bike?"
I usually come back with something like.."at least I didnt but a crotch rocket" etc... Anyone have some clever comebacks? Not that I really care what others think but it would be fun to give it back once in a while...
I had some guy who doesn't even own a bike comment on mine before I got my new pipes about how if I had real pipes on that bike they wouldent have to ask what kind of bike it was. My responce was "yeh and if a frog had wings he wouldent bump his *** when he hopped" " by the way what kind of bike are you riding?" He shut up then
I get alot of comments from jealouse guys riding metric bikes and I just ask then what they ride, then I just smile. They know, so sometimes that is all it takes. Harleys do not need to be "taken up for" they do it themselves!
Just smile at them and have their girlfriend wave goodbye while she rides off on the back of your bike
Hey, that's the best one I have heard. I've had my Sporty for a year and no one has ever given me any crap. I've even gone on some rides with my neighbors MC Club and everyone was way cool. (if necessary I think I could outrun a lot of those heavier bikes anyway and sure as hell out handle them)
