Anyone aware of any windshield lowers that will fit on the Sportster? I have the quick release windshield and the only offensive "breeze" I'm getting is coming up from the bottom of the windshield.
I wasn't too sure where the problem was until I read another post that suggested putting your left forearm across your chest and if you noticed a marked improvement, the problem was wind under the windshield and not over or from the sides. I tried this this morning on my ride and sure enough, the problem was coming from under.

You are correct, that's where it is coming from. I'm planning on making some lowers with a couple pieces of plastic and some 1 inch aluminum angle. Attach to the lower side bolts of the windshield and they will come off with the QR windshield itself. Do a search, there are plenty of ideas and and examples of how to do these... no special tools required beyond a hacksaw and a drill. I'm sure HD makes them for a cost, and I believe Memphis Shades has them available also.
