Handlbars
I have an 05 883L, the stock handlebars because of the sweep back seem to cause pain in the right wrist and numbness in the fingers (maybe I'm just getting old). Looking for a different design of handlbars that are more comfortable and will not cause too many problems to fit. Any suggestions. Where I live there are no dealers that I could visit and try a few for fit.

They're not for everyone but my mini apes did the trick. They're pretty short (I could go taller) but I've been using them for over 2 yrs. and find the relaxed riding postion good and even on 3" risers they only come just around elbow hgt.

the same thing happened to me last year after not riding for many years.
The numbness was caused by holding the grips too tight. I lightened up on the grips, and the pain and numbness went away.
I also installed 883L bars on my 1200C - really helped a lot.
You might want to look at mini-aps or dyna bars.

I could not ride my 05 longer then one hour without lower back pain. I installed 10 inch mini-apes and so far it is much more comfortable to ride. I can use the highway pegs now, never could with the stock bars as it really hurt my lower back.
