They make a shield for the wind?? JK. I rode a friends bike with a windshield and I didn't like it at all. To each his own I guess. I personally love the wind in my face and bugs in my teeth, and the occasional rock in the skull. I wouldn't have it any other way!

lol, I went on a test ride at a local harley dealership on a few bikes today and it made me like it without the windshield, so when I got home I took mine off and went for a good ride.

Note to self: when riding wear sunscreen on neck and the gap between the end of the glove and end of jacket sleeve.

No windshield on the Nightie for me, but it is rough on the neck if your riding for a long time at high speed.

Windshield on long hwy mile's and cold weather, but back road's and weather 50 and up I tend to take it off! HD quick detach sport shield is a great looking on the Sporty. And want's you've used them it sure is a more comfortable ride on the hwy's not to and protection. I had a 2 in piece of concrete come off a cement truck I had no shield and received a huge wallop on my Full face helmet. If I had a shorty on I would hate to think of the out come!

Default WindVest

I've had a WindVest windshield on my '08 Nightster for about 1 month now. I bought it for comfort (less wind buffeting and fatigue) on longer rides. It removes with two allen bolts and thought that I would be removing it alot - even bought a storeage bag to go with it. However, after removing it for one ride, it went back on and hasn't been off since. I now like the looks of the bike better with it on than off. Tinted smoke with wrikle black hardware really compliments the vivid black nightie.
