Music while riding = Bad?

I like music but value having my sense of being able to hear whats going on around me too much to use an ipod while riding

I can't hear anything but wind noise and exhaust when I don't have my ear buds in so it doesn't really change much.

don't like the music when I'm riding takes away from my ride...but to each their own

+1 on that. I use ear buds with my full face helmet, and bluetooth headphones with my half. I can still hear the pipes well but I think the sound of my pipes drown out pretty much everything else when I ride w/o tunes. Is it legal? Don't know, don't care, but they do sell a full face bluetooth helmet, and I plan on getting one. I can't stand ear buds.

The touring models have had stereos on them as long as I can remember (at least as an option).

pritty sure its illegal in FL, i listen anyway, love to do it. starting to do it more and more.

as far as hearing if something is wrong with the engine, that is the only thing i worry about sometimes.
