Are any of you aware of a harley seat with the part number RDW-92/61-0067. The underpart of the seat is stamped Harley Davidson and that part number, but I cant find anything when i search that number on HDs site.
I've searched and searched on that part# but cannot find much information. I'm thinking it is the HD sundowner for a sportster but cannot be certain.
Would somebody please be willing to take a quick peek at these links and let me know if this is a sundowner seat?
Thanks very much!
I just installed one of these seats which I purchased off of Craigslist onto my '04 Custom. Based on the amount of trimming I had to do to accommodate the 4.5 gallon tank on my bike, I'm pretty sure it's the Sundowner solo seat for a Sporty with the 3.3 gallon tank. I ended up having to trim 1" off the "nose" of the seat foam and trim the leading edge of the seatpan back about 3/4" in order to get the seat to slide on properly.

I am no bike builder, but I have seen seats with this part# for sale on ebay. They were also advertised as coming off of a 2003 HD Road King Screaming Eagle, so it's not just for a sporty. That is if the person selling the seat remembers correctly.

As was mentioned earlier, this 'may' be akin to a Sundowner seat, but it matches the numbers off my stock 07 Low Rider. I know because mine is for sale.
I have a Milsco seat that was on my (used) '02 FXST when I bought it. The tab on it has the RDW-92/61-0067 number stamped on it. I have also seen folks list seats from quite a few vendors that fit quite a few different HD bikes, all boasting the same part number RDW-92/61-0067.
Most of us know that the front of the seat on our softails has a tab that inserts in a slot under the gas tank. IMHO, the RDW-92/61-0067 part number actually may be the number for the tab that is inserted in the slot under the gas tank. Multiple vendors... Same part..
There must be another way of telling what a seat fits other than that number.
