hi guys another question, i have an 07 XL883C just broke the 3000 mile mark today. ive been noticing a clunking/knocking noise coming from the front of the bike when im taking off from a rolling stop. usually in second gear but in first sometimes as well. as soon as i let the clutch handle start to go back forward is when it happens .
i know im not in too high of a gear because the engine isnt chugging and the bike aint shaking. i found a post talking about the "front primary sprocket shaft nut" coming loose because of no factory locktite on the shaft and causing the noise. could the primary chain have too much slop as well? low on lube? let me know if im headed down the right path. thanks in advance.
