how many of you wear full face. Not just in the winter but i mean normally wear full face. The reason im asking this i just recently got back from a business trip North MS to NC and man theres alot of riders out there wear full face helmets. i guess its a pretty good idea on the major slab we were on but just alittle curious
I've been wearing a full face for years now, no bugs, no rain, no rocks, I just bought a new Zox flipup chin bar with the inside pull down visor, that is realllly nice. No more worring about sun glasses getting broken in my pocket. Ride safe.
After not riding for 30+ years and being smarter than I was in my youth I went with a HJC flip up modular full face. It was nice in January when I first got the bike and was not too hot the weekend before last when it hit 90+. Got silver instead of black to help keep it cooler. It has a variety of vents that can be opened or closed and you can crack the visor also.
I knew that I wanted to start out with a full face untill I got fully comfortable again and might reconsider another helmet later. So far I'm happy with the full face but have looked at some skid lids that I might use only around the neighborhood at low speeds. Still think I would stay with the full face with any kind of speed and traffic. My initial thought was that the heat might be an issue but not so. Peer pressure was never an issue for me even when I was young.
