I wear my full face all of the time. Was invovlved in a head on collision with two other bikes some years ago and was in a coma for three days because of it and was told by the DR. that I would not be here if it was not for the full face.
I have the HJC Flip-up full face and when it gets really hot I just open the face shield and the vents that are built into the helmet.

Always a full face for me. Guy in my area had a wreck and had to have numerous surguries to his face because he wasn't wearing one. I've also been over the handlebars on dirt bikes enough to know that full face is a pretty good idea. A nice benefit in the winter is a full face and face shield will really help to keep me warm.

I have both a Full Face and an Open Face Helmet (I would guess our open faced helmets are similar to what you call a 3/4).

So far I've used the open face on all rides and will continue to do so most of the time as I'm generally riding around on minor roads through the countryside where the speed limits range mainly between 30mph to 50mph.

However, I have done a couple of journeys on the Motorway (equivalent of your Interstates). At 70mph I did feel more vulnerable with an open face, plus I found that the wind was coming up under the visor and it felt as though the helmet was almost being pulled off my head, which was just uncomfortable. Hence why I've also recently bought a Full Face for the few occassions when I know I'm likely to spend a fair amount of time on the Motorway or similar speed roads.

3/4 with a shield, can't go 1/2 the wind plays hell with my contacts. Never wore a FF, so I stick with what is comfortable.

Full face 99% of the time. My half is a wall decoration. The way I ride my Harley, I will be looking at better protective gear with armor plating, taller shocks, better tires..yada yada yada. I have long x-mas list.

I've been wearing full face for years, for rain, bugs, rocks there really is no substitute. When I got my Harley I tried a non dot "skid lid", for anything other than a ride across town it was useless. For me to wear a half helmet I would need ear plugs and either goggles that fit over my glasses or prescription goggles it's just not worth it when I can put on my full face flip up the shield, put on my glasses, flip it back down and go.

Default Full Face

Because I like my head and face. I might find a white one for summer time.

I only wear a full face helmet. although, sometimes when I'm just cruising through town the helmet sits on my sissy bar. lol But anytime I'm going faster than 35 for long periods of time, I stick it on my head.
