Default really sorry.......

I am sorry to ask this on here cause I know the topic gets beat to death but....i am a little paranoid. I have bought a new Iron this spring and I just put a set of the Hooker Rebel darksides on it.....and man it sounds great. I am wondering if I absolutly must get the air cleaner and a remap for it now? I rode 150 miles with it yesterday, and it ran great all day. I am just worried that i am gonna damage the motor or something without the remap....but i don't really have the cash to get it done. any opinions would be great. sorry again

You don't HAVE to do anything else. You aren't hurting anything. I'm sure others will chime in about the performance aspect of doing the intake and remap, but as far as damage, there will be none from just pipes.

u might get heat from others for this one nah...no worries.

if you've only change the pipes, you're good for now but when u do get air a remap is the way to go. hope this helps.

I've been riding mine with only the sideshots on for about 500 miles with no issues. I'll be getting the heavy breather and a remap on Weds though.

just make sure you have good blinker fluid in it! That helps keep it running cooler

You ruined the bike, It is now worth nothing, Sell it to me.

You only need to worry about the remap if you go Stage 1 AC.

Becareful and enjoy your bike

You ain't hurt nothing. If you keep getting that feeling, just pull your plugs and read them, they'll tell you how she's running.
