we have a family friend who died last year leaving his 1995 Sporty 883 (maybe w/ a 1200 kit) to his widow. She's ready to start clearing out some of the things she won't use and is looking for a value on the bike. It's been quite a while since I saw the bike, but I believe it's a Black 883 Hugger. NADA shows retail value at being $2,400 with no accessories. I really think it's worth a little more than that. I'm going to detail it for her before she puts it on the market, and if it's really only worth $2000 PPV, the I'm going to buy it probably.

thats more what I was thinking. She thinks it has about 10K on it. I'm going to check it out in the next week or so and bring it to my house to start working on it so I'll get all the details and photos then.
