Default What can I do with this -

One of my friends just completed the MSF course and bought one of them metric sportbikes. He was not confident about driving it back from the dealer back home as the ride is an hour with a lot of highway riding so he asked me to ride it back to his house so that it got there in one piece.

To cut a long story short, when the dealer found that I owned a Harley, he gave my friend a Tshirt for me with a bunch of metric names on it. My friend left it in my mailbox.

I am leary of using the shirt to clean my scoot (wearing it is not an option) and am open to suggestions.

Wow that same thing happened to me but in reverse. My buddy who has a sportbike came with me to pick up my Harley since I was putting in the back of a truck to get it home. Well when they found out at the dealership he rides a sportbike they gave me two t-shirts one for me and one for him.

Long story short......... my buddy wears his Harley T-shirt, as for the metric shirt, there has got to be a good will drop off bin somewhere that would make for a decent ride around town on your scoot.

For some good friendly banter do this...

Buy a Hershey Bar, or something with nuts in it. Let it sit in the sun for an hour or so and then rub a nice streak all the way down the front. Or if you are really gross you could just wipe ur a s s with it and stuff in his mailbox. I would prolly go with the candy bar though.

I can understand why you would't want to wear a shirt that advertisd any brand of motorcycle other than Harley but why wouldn't you use it to clean your "scoot"?

heck, I'm not sure why there's a problem with metric sport bikes....HD does not make sport bikes, so what other choice does a person have?

Wear the shirt, it was free. Clothing does not define you.

invite him over next time you change your oil and when some oil gets on the floor, use the shirt to wipe it up.

Do you have a dog? the dog could wear it when your friend comes over. Although, that may lead to comments from your friend about your dog being smarter than you etc.
