Been thinking of adding a fork brace to tame the front end / handlebar vibration at higher speeds. Question...do they work the way their supposed to? Is there a significant difference in the front end with it on? In short...is it worth the money?

Yes.
Most riders won't notice the difference, but if you really push the bike, you will find it stiffens the front end considerably.
It might not fix your front end vibrations, though. There are many, many causes of front end squiggles.
There is a little difference. It will not take out all of the vibration out that you might expect. I was expecting more of a solid vibration free ride ... but that is not the case. I have the stock narrow glide front end also.
You may also want to try a heavier weight fork oil to get the mushy feel out of your front end.

I have one on my Nightster and it looks Awesome plus really helps in the corners. now if I could just stop the jiffy stand & heat shield from scraping......sure don't corner like the SE RK did.
