Default Lowered my Nightster... ISSUES?!??!? need help...

Alright i got some lowering brackets to lower down my bike about 2 inches.... now i have had one existing issue get worst. My rear tire is now rubbing the inner fender all the time over bumpy roads. It was doing that before so i assume i need to put more preload on the shocks.... suggestions please... 2nd issue is the rubbing of my kick stand, on hard turns. r they're any solutions to this... I was thinking to raising the bike back up, but would like to keep it lowered...Thanks in advance for the input...

only solution is raise it back up. the nightster already comes with the lower shocks so lowering it two inches gives it about and inch and a half travel. your ecm tray will eventually be rubbed through and the ecm toasted. my advice: take them off and if you want the lowered look look into struts. but be warned it is a very harsh ride.

Not good dude, raise it up an inch, or raise your shocks accordingly. I put my buddy's lowering kit on his 03 Sporty and his was doing the same thing. I told him we needed to raise his shocks up before he rode, but he insisted on keeping them lowered down. The first little ride we went on he hit a bump and I heard all sorts of clang bangin around and **** hitting and rubbing. Needless to say we turned right around and raised the shocks and he was golden.
