Default Rewiring help/throttle help... SOLVED!

Thanks to everyone who took the time to read my long list of problems and gave their input. Whether it was good, bad or just sarcasm I took it and used it. So here is the scoop!

Clutch interlock switch is a default switch in the left control housing, when clutch is engaged it presses this button. It allows you to start your bike in gear rather than having it in neutral. Since I took it off, I have to always start bike in NEUTRAL.

Brake light always being engaged. I read that the front stop switch located in the right control housing is very delicate. Its possible that it can be damaged from just removing the housing. That's what happened to mine, but since I was removing all the buttons on the right side, I cut the wires and WALLA rear brake now engages brake light and it's not engaged constantly. However I do not have a front stop switch anymore to engage the brake light, so I must remember to always use both brakes when stopping to make sure light is engaged.

As far as the not having a neutral light on my speedo, I think that has to do with the clutch interlock button. Nothing I have to worry about...

Throttle, apparently I don't need an idle cable, it's just a factory safety chingas... so I removed the cable from the throttle body and now only have throttle cable.

I got my toggle switch to work the Run/Start. I bought an ON-ON switch just to have one, but I think I will go back to a toggle and a push button seems more practical to me.

As for the wires, I cut off all the connectors and cramped them all. I taped everything all up and although it's still somewhat bulky because so many FRICKEN WIRES, it's still cleaner.

Well thats its, CHEERS!

Glad you solved the problem. It is your bike, and the mods you are performing are your choice.

However, if you ever decide to sell the thing ... please tell the new buyer about the changes. If it were me I would sure hate to find out later that the wiring has been significantly altered.

Yeah its my choice just to simplify the bike. I wanted to remove all unnecessary items and make it my own "stock modified bobber". Of course if I ever sell it buyer will know about the changes but i dont think I will sell it. It will be passed down or used swapped out to another frame like zero engineering sportster rigid frame.
