Hi,
I just bought 2008 883C sportster, but my legs are too long. I need somekind of extension to the forward controls. Do you guys have any idea who sells this? I only saw 2" extended forward controls. I need somewhere around 4 inches or more. There is nothing in Kuryakyn. Do you know any brand that have sells this kit or the whole piece?

Your biggest obstical is the front pipe. I've looked at it myself and if you go with a V&H type of exhaust that moves your forward pipe behind the controls, it should be simple to build an extention. May even be able to use Dyna parts, though I havent checked that. I dont know of a ready made kit.
You think you could provide a close up shot of your forward control extensions? I'm currently waiting for supplies to arrive to fab up my own and trying to see what other people have done.
I extended mine 5". Although not the level of work of Guitarman works for me. There was a sticky on this from Nevets, but the links went down. Here are some pics & details of mine. - You may be able to mod the mod to get in front of your stocker pipes, otherwise you would need V&H shortshots or similar pipes.
Link went down when they swapped software on the site. If you want send me a pm with your email and I'll send my pics and instructions on what I did.. keep in mine you probably need aftermarket pipes like V&H cause the factory pipes run to the front of the bike while V&H and others pull the front pipe back which makes it easy to extend..
