Help! I have been labeled "a beginner"! I have had my license and bike for about a month. 2005 XL 883 Custom. Have ridden around 600 miles so far. I ride every chance I get...in town, highway, country roads. (solo) I have never had a bike or ridden before except as a passenger and that was yeeeaaaarrrsss ago! I am female and will be 47 in June... [&:] I feel confident and comfortable but respect the machine.
Well nothing wrong with being labeled a beginner in my opinion.I hadnt riden for almost thirty years before I bought my 97 Sporty and I am 49 now so I am a beginner to.But dont matter to me cause the dangers and fun are both the same whether you have been riding for 40 years or just started. But hey just have fun enjoy riding and be safe.Thats what it is all about.
From a 49 year old beginner
Being a beginner or novice-call it any thing you want. Just have fun. I been riding for over 40 yrs and each time I get on that bike it is a new experiance.
Being called a beginner is not a derogatory moniker. Itâs a descriptive one. My wife is in a similar boat except you have riden a few more miles then her. Sheâs 47. Got her license and bike in February and sheâs got less than 100 miles under her belt. Sheâs a beginner. More importantly, sheâs a female solo rider. To me, female solo riders are all hotties!
I just got my first bike 4\26\06. I've got 800 miles on it as of yesterday. I'm 37. But to one up you, my legal name is Harley(first).Everyone I meet asks "you have a Harley right?".Now the answer is "Yes, yes I do." It is rough being me. LOL
